Our Ulster collection draws inspiration from the rich carpet heritage of England and Ireland. Famed rug designers such as William Morris and Voysey took floral inspired patterns to a more abstract form much in keeping with the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century. Irish Donegal carpets are revered for their lush pile, bold colors and abstract designs. Our reproductions celebrate the exciting patterns and employ the greens, reds, yellows and blues these carpets were famous for although care has been taken to soften the hues to some degree. The result is a beautiful conversation piece for your transitional application.
