Oushak
Oushak (Ushak,Usak) is a city in northwest Turkey steeped in rug weaving tradition. While centuries ago the weavers employed bold color combinations and a wide variety of patterns our reproductions reflect the pieces that have historically been the most popular in our Antique Collection. Softer palettes featuring melon tones and neutral colors dominate our offering. Patterns tend to be more loosely drawn but sophisticated enough to accommodate both formal and more casual applications.
