Lapchi Tibetan rugs was started in early 2001 with two goals: first, to create an unmistakably beautiful collection of carpets and present those carpets in a made-to-order format, and second, to redefine customer service in the carpet industry in a way that would make Lapchi the company with whom our customers would most want to do business. The Lapchi textile Collection has grown to include over 160 designs and colors. The carpets are inspired by textile design from the 14th century to the present from such diverse places as India, Spain, Japan, Austria, China, England, Turkey and France.
