Our antique and semi-antique rug collections are widely considered the most decorative in the Southeast...and they have to be. Our showroom in the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center caters to the most heralded designers in the country. Access to the most creative yet discriminating minds in the industry has helped shape what we look for in an old rug. Like most antique rug dealers, we consider age, condition, weaving techniques and origins when assessing a rug, but for our clients the bar must be raised. The room is of utmost importance. While the carpet may be the focal or starting point, it must integrate not dominate. Subtlety of color, scale of pattern and texture must be considered. Our calling card for the past several years has been that we are a major source for decorative Oushaks and we still are. We have built upon that to include the most outstanding Agras, Sultanabad’s, Lavar Kerman’s, Sarouk Fereghans and European carpets in our collection.
